Wing has been tutoring our daughter, an A-level student for just over 4 months. Once weekly lessons are delivered online as we live outside the UK. Wing is very conscientious, honest and an excellent tutor. She explains and clarifies concepts which are very helpful in chemistry. She is very patient and describes in a way that our daughter can understand. Wing also provides email support whenever needed. We are hoping to continue this tutoring until June 2019 when our daughter will complete her A-levels. We would highly recommend Wing for chemistry tutoring to any A-level student.

Wing's biography
Wing is passionate about science and it was her A-Level chemistry teacher that inspired her to read Chemistry at University College London (UCL), which she completed in 2004. During her degree she took part in outreach programmes centred on teaching science in local secondary schools and inspiring young people to “Aim Higher” and go on to further education and university. After a few years working as a chemistry researcher at UCL and in investment banking in the City, she was missing the classroom and the opportunities to engage young people with science. In 2012 she retrained as a secondary school teacher completing her PGCE from the Institute of Education.
Wing is currently teaching at an independent selective day school in North London teaching chemistry to iGCSE and A level students. Prior to that she taught at an inner London academy in North London, teaching all sciences to GCSE (with key achievement of 100% A*-C), IB Physics at standard level and IB Chemistry at higher level (100% Grade 4 or above). Wing has been rated as an “outstanding” practitioner with key strengths in strong Chemistry subject knowledge, having good relationship with her classes and sharing her love for Chemistry with the pupils.
She can implement a range of teaching strategies delivering an inspiring curriculum that is enjoyable for the pupil and encourages them to work to their full potential. This is so that the pupils have a clear understanding of what they themselves need to improve to enable them to follow their dream and achieve their goals in life.
Outside the classroom, Wing is a keen traveler having recently completed the Inca trail and has travelled to Kenya to provide teacher training.
