Biology (KS3, GCSE AQA, GCSE Edexcel, GCSE OCR, IGCSE, A Level AQA, A Level Edexcel and A Level OCR)
Kevin is currently an Deputy Headteacher at Harrow High School in North West London where he is responsible for the schools Sixth Form provision. He enjoys teaching Biology to Oxbridge level, as well as supporting students throughout the university admissions process. Prior to this role at Harrow, Kevin taught at Wembley High Technology College, where he has been responsible for the colleges highest ever Biology grades (with 85% of students achieving A* or A grades.)
Kevin enjoys working with students to achieve their goals and as a consequence of his innovative teaching many of his students have gone on to study prestigious subjects such as Medicine, Pharmacy and Biochemistry at leading universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, and UCL.
Kevin graduated from University College London in 2008 with an Honours degree in Biomedical Sciences with Psychology. A desire to teach led him to join the prestigious Teach First Leadership Development Programme where he gained his PGCE and QTS whilst teaching in a challenging inner-city school. He is very passionate about Science education, and has worked extensively in the field as an Examiner for the AQA examination board, and regularly advises education bodies such as Pearson and Teach First on issues in Science education, Sixth Form, and qualifications reform.
Kevin qualified to teach Science in 2010, and holds a PGCE from Canterbury Christchurch University College.
