Emma studied Ancient History and History BA at the University of Leicester graduating with a 2:1 in 2012. Following this, she went straight on to study a Primary PGCE with English specialism at the University of Exeter graduating in 2013. From then until now, Emma has been a full time teacher working across the primary curriculum as well as being a curriculum leader for Maths, PSHE, Humanities and assessment. She believes that every child can show academic progress with the right care and using her professional knowledge built up over the past 7 years knows how to provide the expertise to ensure a child is engaged and challenged in throughout their education journey.
Emma qualified to teach Primary education in 2013, and holds a PGCE from University of Exeter .

We collect references for all of our tutors when they join. Not all referees agree to have their reference publically listed, but when they do we show them here.
It has been a privilege working alongside Emma at St Stephen's. In the time I have known her, she has never been anything less than excellent at anything I've seen her do. She capably balances her workload in and out of the class at St Stephen's, doing everything in outstanding fashion. Furthermore, she's a great person too - kind, courteous and friendly. I would offer my highest recommendation with regards to Emma!

Emma, like all of our tutors, is a qualified teacher and has been interviewed by us personally. All of our tutors have at least two years of classroom teaching experience and come with fantastic references and criminal records checks.
