Tutor profile - Martha

Martha is an experienced primary school teacher with experience in keys stages 1 and 2. She excelled at a school in Medway, raising attainment in class, as well as through small group and one to one support outside of lessons. Ofsted observed 'an enjoyable experience for the children' and 'progress seen in books over time'.

Martha's style is learner focused and inclusive. She volunteering for Human Scale Education, a charity supporting schools to nurture relationships so that children and young people are known and valued as individuals. This is reflected in her tutor style. She is also the Founder of a charity using mindfulness and music to support children in their development of focus and attention for greater wellbeing and academic attainment.

When Martha isn't tutoring, she can be found playing the clarinet, drumming, singing and reading books.
