Renee's biography
For her undergraduate degree, Renee studied at the University of California, Davis, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in English as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. She was a University of California, Davis Regent's Scholar and was the recipient of a Department Citation in English. After graduation, Renee was accepted into the University of San Francisco Teacher Credentialing programme, with an emphasis on English, Cross Cultural, Language and Academic Development. She was awarded her California Teaching Credential in English and Spanish, alongside a Masters of Arts in Educational Technology. In San Francisco, Renee taught middle school English and Spanish, where she worked with children aged 10 - 13.
Renee received Qualified Teacher Status in the UK in 2008. During her time here, she has focused her efforts on working with children ages 5-11, in London primary schools, achieving excellent results. Renee is currently a Science Lead and a UK curriculum content curator.
