Theory of Knowledge
Arabella has worked with children aiming to attend the following schools:
Arabella has successfully prepared children for Wetherby Prep, St Paul’s Juniors & Westminster Under at 8, as well as Goldolphin & Latymer, Francis Holland & St Paul’s Girls at 11+. She has also prepared children for the ISEB 13+ course, and scholarship places at Eton, Harrow, Winchester College and St Paul's at 13+.
Fifteen years of experience working in a variety of schools has given Arabella a secure grounding in examination skills. She is organised, energetic and self-directed and can develop a positive and authoritative rapport thereby creating trust and a good relationship in order to achieve their goals. By providing an environment that is stimulating, safe and where her main target is to raise the self-esteem of everyone concerned, Arabella has confidence that academically her tutees will achieve above and beyond what is expected of them.
Arabella studied for a Masters in Divinity at the University of Edinburgh, achieving a 2:1 with honours in Ecclesiastical History. After winning a graduate trainee placement in London and specialising in Investor Relations she realised that her passion lay in working with young people and found a place to re-train in a state secondary school as a Religious Studies teacher. Over time, she also taught English and then embarked on the IB DP giving her a wealth of knowledge across subject fields.
Arabella qualified to teach Religious Education in 2005, and holds a GTP with QTS from Brunel University.

We collect references for all of our tutors when they join. Not all referees agree to have their reference publically listed, but when they do we show them here.
Arabella is an extremely competent teacher who was consistently used as an example of best teaching practice at Wetherby Prep.

Arabella, like all of our tutors, is a qualified teacher and has been interviewed by us personally. All of our tutors have at least two years of classroom teaching experience and come with fantastic references and criminal records checks.
