11 Plus, 13 Plus, Other School Entrance, English, French & Spanish
My daughter is benefitting hugely from Victoria’s tutoring. I met with my daughter's (rather strict and unyielding) English teacher yesterday and she said that my daughter has come on IN SPADES (as she put is) and is “really getting it”, so this is really down to Victoria’s work with her. She is also feeling much more confident, she says, and is much more able to identify and describe the more subtle layers of meaning in a text.

Victoria's biography
Victoria has eight years’ experience at tutoring pupils in French, Spanish and English, and has most recently tutored children in preparation for success at the 10+, 11+ and at GCSE level. She graduated from the University of St Andrews in 2011 and qualified as a teacher through the prestigious Teach First programme. Since then, she has taught English and modern foreign languages and most recently was Head of Department (English) at her school. During the summer exam season she is also an A Level Spanish marker.
Victoria has an energetic and enthusiastic approach in the classroom and prides herself on being able to get the very best out of her pupils through hard work, humour and tailoring work to their specific needs. She has received a string of outstanding observation reports for her teaching and continuously researches innovative practice.
Victoria left teaching full-time in July 2017 to study for an MA in Education and International Development at UCL's Institute of Education. She achieved a distinction in her course and this inspired her to pursue a PhD in education (recently completed) through the University of Manchester.
