Jennifer 's biography

Jennifer left school in 2009 with straight As in her A levels, before attending University College London. There, she achieved a 2:1 BSc. in Human Sciences. Although her degree was primarily based in Biology, Jennifer also studied units in Psychology, Biochemistry and Anthropology. After graduating in 2012, Jennifer secured a place on the prestigious Leadership development programme of Teach First, a charity addressing educational disadvantage in the UK.

After three years of teaching Science in London, Jennifer had the opportunity to teach at a British International School in Singapore. The exceptionally high standards of teaching and learning in Singapore proved to be an excellent learning opportunity for Jennifer, as she was appointed as Head of Science after only one year. Under her leadership, 100% of students achieved A*-A grades in their GCSEs in August 2018.

After three very happy years in Singapore, Jennifer returned to London and decided to become a tutor in 2018. This is because working 1:1 with students is Jennifer's favourite part of teaching and the time her students make the greatest progress. In addition, her experience of teaching children from all over the world has given Jennifer a unique insight into the expectations the very best schools have of their applicants.

Alongside being a teacher, Jennifer is also an actor and a writer. She recently completed a diploma in Acting at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in September 2023 and is now able to teach KS3, GCSE and IGCSE Drama. Her work as an actor and as a teacher brings a unique and exciting dimension to her students.
