How it Works

Finding a tutor

we-listen

We Listen

Getting the most from one to one tuition is as much about the relationship between the student and the tutor and the teaching abilities of the tutor. In order to match students with the right Owl Tutor we take the time to understand your needs, expectations and goals for tuition.

we-recommend

We Recommend

After listening to your specific requirements, we will be in a position to make recommendations of which of our tutors to use. Our UK-qualified teachers will be expected to have relevant experience of the specific qualifications that our clients are looking for help with such as the International Baccalaureate or A-Levels.

you-decide

You Decide

Once we have collated the tutors that we recommend to provide you with tuition, we will send you details of each of the tutors so that you can make the final decision. Once you have chosen who you would like to meet, we will swap details between the two of you so that tuition can begin.

Fees and Payments

  • Tutor rates will be confirmed when Owl Tutors forwards tutor suggestions (tutor rates start from £67+VAT per hour)
  • Owl Tutors take up to 40% of the total hourly rate
  • No hidden costs, we do not charge registration or placement fees and travel expenses are included in the agreed hourly rates

Monitoring and Reporting

  • Tutors are required to submit monthly progress reports to Owl Tutors
  • Owl Tutors review each progress report and freeback performance to clients
  • Owl Tutors support both tutors and students through the provision of materials and regular feedback
