Ruth is a diligent, personable tutor who was able to naturally connect with our daughter. Excellent tuition
Our son, who has just completed year 7, has been receiving tuition with Alex for the past 3 months. During this time, we have noticed a marked improvement in our son’s writing and his progress has been reflected in his excellent end of year report and assessment results. Our son has described Alex as a kind and thoughtful teacher who makes the lessons enjoyable, but still challenging. We would highly recommend Alex to anyone who is hoping to help their child to gain confidence in completing longer and more complex written tasks and develop their own style of writing by expanding their vocabulary and varying their sentence structures.

I cannot recommend enough of Nicola as a 11+ tutor, who has worked with me son for the for the Queen Elizabeth’s Boys and CSSE exams. We have had numerous excellent tutors provided by Owl Tutors over the years. Always helpful and with high standards, they are a great resource.
Harriet was marvellous. She immediately understood what help our son needed with his A level Geography, and with her expertise in the subject was able to come up with a plan to focus on exam technique in a short timescale. Each session was tailored to the different types of exam question, and she set tasks in between sessions which she provided feedback on. We are awaiting A level results, but her friendly, focused approach meant our son went into his exams with a focused plan and much more confidence. We would highly recommend Harriet to anyone.

I found Owl tutors through a google search and have been really impressed with how quickly they found a brilliant tutor, their communication and how the platform works.
We have been hugely grateful for Alan's help in getting our son prepared for his Maths IB exams. Upon embarking on the tutoring, his grades were worryingly low but by the end of the period of tutoring significant improvement in his ability had been made. Alan did an excellent job at really helping him have more confidence in his ability and the subject matter as a whole, in order to hopefully achieve his full potential in what is accepted globally as a very challenging exam. We would like to particularly point out Alan's calm and thorough teaching methods, which worked well for our son. A big thank you to Alan for guiding our son through this tricky period of his schooling.
