Stuck for ideas for your Chemistry IA? Here is a list of 50 ideas that should hopefully inspire you to come up with an excellent IA of your own. Carl is a highly experienced Chemistry tutor who is available for one-to-one online tuition.
After being contacted by a frustrated chemistry teacher whose students were copying ideas from this list to use as their IAs, I am adding the following disclaimer:
Remember also that ‘Personal Engagement’ is one of your assessment criteria, so again, don’t just copy one of these ideas!

How would you suggest carrying out practical 3 of the Acids and bases section (about natural indicators)?
What would you titrate against? I am thinking about doing something related to natural pH indicators for my IA, could you give me any pointers? Thanks!
Well, remember that for an indicator to be effective, its colour change should occur within the vertical section of a titration curve (i.e. around the equivalence point). What you'd need to do would be to find the indicator's colour at different pH values and see where a sharp colour change occurs. That will tell you the type of titration you could use it for (strong acid vs. weak base etc.)

You could also look at measuring pKin of natural indicators using spectrophotometry if your school has the equipment.
Hope this helps!
