A member of the Owl Tutors team will be in touch with you to confirm receipt of your enquiry and discuss your requirements in a little more detail. We’ll typically try to call within working hours (9AM to 5PM UK time, Monday to Friday) or will email you to arrange a convenient time to talk.
Once we have a clear understanding of your tuition requirements, we will start the matching process. Tutors who have the relevant experience and skills (including any you have identified on our website as being of particular interest) will be sent the details of the role. Each time a tutor applies, you will receive an email alert notifying you of their application. This will set out the tutor’s availability and hourly rate, and link to their profile. If you’d rather not receive multiple emails, you have the option to receive a short-list of candidates in one email, once all applications have been received.
If you have submitted an enquiry outside of our usual office hours and want to find a tutor ASAP, the best thing to do is to add a payment method to your account. This will mean that your enquiry is automatically sent to relevant tutors who will be able to apply to the role. You will receive an email alert notifying you of each application and, should you wish to proceed with arranging tuition, you will be able to select a tutor right away. Your contact details will then be swapped via email and the tutor will contact you to confirm arrangements.
