Falkner House, a small school situated in south-west London, caters for boys and girls aged between 4 and 11 on two separate sites, with a co-educational day nursery also available in the girls’ school. There are over 300 pupils in total, primarily from local families, and the school maintains a family atmosphere with small class sizes and strong pastoral provision. The standard entry point for both the girls’ and boys’ school is 4+, but the numbers of places available does depend on the number of children transferring from the nursery to the prep school. Tours of Falkner House
As Falkner House is a small school, tours of both the girls’ and boys’ schools are available with senior staff. These are made by appointment with the school and are the first stage in the application process.
4+ Entry to Falkner House
Around 150 children apply for 22 places at Falkner House for 4+ entry, and the school closes its application list when this number is reached. Children are then invited to an assessment morning and are assessed both individually and in groups. Offers are sent out following the assessment day and must be accepted promptly.
