Bruce

Bruce studied Joint Hons, Botany and Zoology at Cardiff University and gained a PGCE teaching qualification at Oxford University. He worked in post sixteen education teaching Biology, Human Biology, Environmental Science, Botany, Zoology and History Philosophy and Ethics of Science. Bruce has worked in many six form colleges and from 1998 designed and taught on Harrow Public School Biology Easter revision courses. He has been a head of subject several times, most recently at Portsmouth Grammar School where he led a large team of other teachers and technicians.

Bruce also has a great deal of experience of university applications. He has spent most of his career helping students choose university courses, drafting, writing, improving personal statements and running interview practice. He has many resources to help students improve the depth of their personal statements.

Bruce has been in charge of all Medics applications in several colleges as well as being deeply involved in Oxbridge applications. Most recently he has created a science e-assessment website to help students with their learning.
