Fay's biography

Fay studied Biochemistry at the University of Bristol and has been a teacher for 18 years. She has taught at a variety of state, private and international schools. Fay is an experienced teacher of advanced level Biology, GCSE Biology and GCSE Chemistry and was the head of Biology at one of the UKs leading state schools for 7 years.

Fay has also spent 6 years teaching the IB curriculum and was sent in as an IB trouble shooter at an international school a few years ago. These students underwent an intensive tutoring course at the end of their IB1 year and she successfully improved their confidence (and outcomes)in their IB2 year.

Fay is described as a friendly and approachable teacher who can give clear explanations to even the most difficult of topics. She has worked as both an examiner and tutor in the past which help massively in getting you the grades.

IB Experience

Fay taught IB Higher Level and Standard level Biology between 2009 and 2015 at St George's School Cologne, MES Cairo and St John's Marlborough. At St John's she coordinated all sixth form Biology courses. Fay has supervised extended essays and group 4 projects.
