Elena has over 10 years experience working in the independent sector (Francis Holland School, St Dunstan's College), and as a tutor and has taught A level, IB, and I/GCSE across all boards. Originally from Italy, Elena cultivated her passion for foreign languages from a young age and has always had a soft spot for philology and history. Growing up she has been studying English, German, Spanish and Latin and she specialised in English and German at the prestigious language faculty of the University of Trieste, Italy. She graduated with the equivalent of a First Degree and completed her MA with a viva on post colonial British theatre. She holds a PGCE from Middlesex University, and since qualifying as a teacher she has taught a huge number of students, across all boards and in both state and private schools. She is a passionate teacher and tutor, has a kind, firm and realistic approach and enjoys seeing her pupils succeeding and overcome those they perceive as limitations.
Elena is also an actor and writer and she also teaches Stage Presence to musicians.
