Simon specialises in inspiring students to realise their potential in Economics and Business. He is an experienced A-level subject leader and has a track record of improving results and exceeding target expectations, especially with regard to progress scores at A-Level. Simon has taught Business and Economics in both the maintained and independent education sectors over the last 10 years, and has tutored Business and Economics A-Levels online and face-to-face. Simon has a first class degree in Business and Economics from a Russell Group university, and a post-graduate diploma in European Business Sciences from one of France's Grandes Ecoles. He has additional expertise in preparing senior students for life beyond school, working on applications for study or jobs, careers support, personal statements, or delivering Extended Project Qualifications. Simon is an approved Examiner for A-Level Business and A-Level Economics.

Simon brings significant management experience in organisational design and effectiveness, change management, leadership and decision-making from his global management consulting career, and has a particular professional interest in employment-related skills and the future of work. Simon worked in over 40 countries and lived in 6 over the course of a career working with many of the world's top companies and governments, including BP, KPMG and EY. He has expertise in workforce design and effectiveness, and public sector reform, and this positions him well to enrich students' application of Business and Economics as well as helping them to develop skills valuable at university and in work. Born in South Africa, with a Chinese wife and sons born in Australia and the UK, Simon has a strong appreciation for international work and the understanding of different national cultures.
