Emma's biography

Emma studied engineering at Imperial College, London and qualified as a teacher in 1992. She has taught physics for 32 years to A Level and GCSE level, including IGCSE. For the past 23 years she has worked at an Eton Group Independent school, preparing students for Russell Group universities, including Oxbridge. She has worked as an A Level examiner for Edexcel and has marked Common Entrance papers. Emma has extensive experience working with a whole range of different abilities. She has had particular success helping students who have previously struggled with physics, breaking down tricky concepts into accessible chunks and using everyday examples to help cement knowledge and understanding. She is calm, patient and adaptable.

Emma is married with two children.
