Tutor profile - Peter

A dynamic, experienced and friendly teacher of economics with 19 years experience of teaching the subject at AS/A2, IB Higher and Standard Levels and GCSE/IGCSE levels . Before becoming a teacher Peter worked for the American International Bank Citibank and spent some time running his own business. As well as teaching economics Peter is an examiner with the IB and registered with OFQUAL as a subject expert. He is passionate about economics because he believes that it is the key to understanding so much that is happening in the world around us.

Peter is currently teaching economics at Cheltenham Ladies College and here as well as the other places that he has worked (he has previously taught at several leading schools, including Sherborne Girls and Canford) has gained plenty of experience in tutoring students to ensure that they achieve the best result possible. In his spare time Peter is a keen philatelist (stamp collector) and enjoys gardening and walking in the wonderful west country.
