Charlotte is a fully qualified Geography teacher (Teach First trained) with six years of experience in UK secondary schools including holding the position of Head of Geography and being trained as an AQA examiner.
As a teacher and tutor, Charlotte is noted for her engaging lessons that focus on solving the world’s problems through a geographical lens, from plastic pollution to biodiversity loss. At her previous school, Charlotte was successful at increasing the number of students choosing to take geography at GCSE by 50%. This was attributed to her passion and enthusiasm for the subject which inspired her pupils.
Charlotte has a Post Graduate Diploma in Geography Education from University College London (UCL) and before this studied Politics BA (hons) at The University of Nottingham.
Her excellent subject knowledge and in-depth understanding of the examination process will enhance your child’s knowledge of the natural and human world and better prepare your them with the skill set required to maximise their potential and succeed at GCSE and A level Geography.
