Nazish

Nazish is a qualified science teacher with ten years of experience, having taught since 2015. She has mainly worked in independent schools, teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics at KS3 and GCSE level, and currently supports students through one-to-one and small-group tutoring. She has extensive experience teaching the AQA, OCR and Edexcel exam boards, with a particular specialism in the Edexcel GCSE specification, which she has taught since 2016. Nazish is also highly experienced in IGCSE sciences, as well as A-Level biology and chemistry for a range of specifications.

In addition to classroom teaching, Nazish has spent four years as Head of Department, developing strong skills in assessment, curriculum planning and personalised student support. She has a proven track record of helping students achieve strong results in the sciences, with many of her pupils progressing to further education and degree courses such as medicine, dentistry, biochemistry, medical physics and engineering.

Nazish’s tutoring sessions are carefully planned and tailored to each student’s individual needs. She focuses on building a secure understanding of key concepts before developing exam technique, ensuring students feel confident applying their knowledge. She uses clear explanations, targeted practice and detailed feedback to improve understanding, boost confidence and maximise exam performance. She sets high expectations while providing supportive and structured guidance, helping students develop resilience, strengthen application skills and feel well prepared for the next stage of their education.
