After a successful 15-year career in the private sector, working for globally recognised brands such as Fox and PwC, Daniel transitioned into teaching in 2019. Drawing on this real-world commercial background, his aim is to make Economics and financial literacy engaging and accessible to young people, helping them see the relevance of the subject beyond the classroom. Daniel has led Business and Economics departments in several schools and has also worked as an AQA examiner. This dual experience, as both a departmental leader and an examiner, gives him a detailed understanding of exactly what is required to achieve top grades, and he uses this insight to give every student the best possible platform for future success.

At GCSE level, Daniel has taught OCR GCSE Economics for a number of years, and under his leadership the subject's school cohort grew from 22 students in 2023 to more than 60 by 2026, a reflection of both his teaching quality and his ability to inspire enthusiasm for the subject.

Daniel has always been a Key Stage 5 specialist, having taught A Level Business and Economics with great success. His particular strength lies in making complex material accessible and building genuine curiosity in his students, rather than simply teaching to the test. Patient, encouraging and highly organised, Daniel tailors his approach to each student's individual learning style, helping them build both the confidence and the exam technique needed to excel.
