Sönke is a native speaker and has a BA and a MA degree. Having first gained experience in teaching German while working as a British Council Foreign Language Assistant in East Devon, he decided to follow a career in teaching German at secondary and tertiary level.

After graduating from secondary school in Germany, Maggie attended classes at the University of Stuttgart where she studied English, French and Politics. She graduated with the first state exam (equivalent of a bachelor’s degree of honours, 2:1) in English and Politics.

Rebekah grew up in Switzerland and so has been exposed to multilingualism from an early age; as a child, she spoke English at home, French at school, and started learning German at the age of seven. She is passionate about languages and convinced anyone can pick them up—with just a little time and commitment!
Rebekah went on to study French and German at Southampton University where she achieved a First.

Nick's fields of expertise over the last ten years have ranged from freelance translation, event management to education. He has been teaching French and Italian (from KS3 to KS5) and German (KS3) in secondary schools, over the last 9 years.
Anni has been a teacher for 9 years, following a lifelong love of learning. She has taught in a range of schools, notably spending the majority of her time teaching in independent preparatory schools in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
