Before Andrew found teaching he had been a financial consultant, a marketing, communications and PR officer, a company manager and business development manager, a yoga and meditation teacher, an actor, a chef, a creative and artist, a music festival producer and manager and more! Andrew left his own education with 5 and a half A-levels of his own as well as a BA in Politics (with Philosophy) and a Masters in International relations, Ethics and Philosophy.
Andrew first came to teaching through becoming a Special Education Needs Teaching assistant; he also completed lots of work experience in other secondary and primary schools (for example Highgate School and Grafton Primary School).
Nina is an experienced, enthusiastic and highly qualified tutor, teacher and writer. She gained her BA and MA at the University of Cambridge in 2011, and was awarded her teaching qualifications (both QTS and PGCE) from the Institute of Education in 2015 and 2016.
Claire graduated from Imperial College in 2011 with an Engineering degree and is currently in her eighth year of teaching, exam marking and tutoring Mathematics. Her experience as a teacher, examiner and a tutor over the last eight years has given Claire many of the skills necessary to successfully tutor students of all ages.
Ally graduated with a First Class degree in Psychology and qualified as as an outstanding Primary teacher through the prestigious Teach First programme (a fast-track teacher training scheme for high-achieving graduates). Ally obtained the highest-possible ratings for her teaching from Ofsted, due to the exceptional progress her pupils made.
Josie qualified as a teacher through the prestigious Teach First training programme gaining an ‘Outstanding’ professional practice grade in her PGCE awarded by the UCL Institute of Education. She has taught for five years in a large and diverse school in Tower Hamlets where she is now an English Subject Leader.
Tom is a teacher of Classics at Highgate School in North London, where he has taught Latin, Greek, Classical Civilisation, and Ancient History. He has has had a range of positions of additional responsibility at the school, including running extracurricular programmes that were delivered to several hundred students.
Alessio loves studying! He currently holds three Masters (one in Engineering, one in Computing and one in Psychotherapy), and works as a private Maths teacher for students who are home-schooled by Local Authorities or need tuition in addition to school classes, while running a private psychotherapy practice. He regularly works as an examiner for Edexcel and he works for Harrow School Enterprises to offer revision course for A Level, GCSE and IGCSE Mathematics.
