Before Andrew found teaching he had been a financial consultant, a marketing, communications and PR officer, a company manager and business development manager, a yoga and meditation teacher, an actor, a chef, a creative and artist, a music festival producer and manager and more! Andrew left his own education with 5 and a half A-levels of his own as well as a BA in Politics (with Philosophy) and a Masters in International relations, Ethics and Philosophy.
Andrew first came to teaching through becoming a Special Education Needs Teaching assistant; he also completed lots of work experience in other secondary and primary schools (for example Highgate School and Grafton Primary School).
Maud is a current English GCSE Examiner for both Language and Literature and a full-time Secondary School Teacher of English up to A-Level. She is also Head of Literacy in her school, a UCAS Advisor and a KCL Kings Ambassador 2017/18.
Victoria has six years’ experience at tutoring pupils in French, Spanish and English, and has most recently tutored children in preparation for success at the 10+, 11+ and at GCSE level. She graduated from the University of St Andrews in 2011 and qualified as a teacher through the prestigious Teach First programme.
Bridie is a graduate of Jesus College, Cambridge, with a degree in English Literature. She is a qualified secondary English teacher with four years’ experience and is confident with range of pupil needs, attitudes to learning, texts and examination boards.
Emma teaches at the selective Notting Hill and Ealing High School (GDST), teaching Year 7 to Year 13, including Cambridge IGCSE English Literature and English Language, as well as both English Literature and English Language A Levels (OCR and AQA boards respectively). She prepares students for English degrees and Oxbridge entrance through enrichment sessions and mock interviews, and advises her Sixth Form tutor group on university entrance.
