Ally graduated with a First Class degree in Psychology and qualified as as an outstanding Primary teacher through the prestigious Teach First programme (a fast-track teacher training scheme for high-achieving graduates). Ally obtained the highest-possible ratings for her teaching from Ofsted, due to the exceptional progress her pupils made.
Jay is a qualified Solicitor that re-trained to become a Teacher. He is now Head of Maths at a London prep school and has over 10 years experience of successfully helping students to secure top grades at 11+, pre-test, Common Entrance and Scholarship.
With an innate aptitude for working with children, especially nurturing their intrinsic capacities, Kate couples her awareness of pedagogical methods and knowledge of how best to scaffold development with a child-centred approach tailored to each individual. Recognising the multiple forms of intelligence, she is adaptive and creative but sets high expectations, aiming to inspire, motivate and challenge all of the children that she works with.
Before embarking on a career in education, Georgina graduated from Sussex University in 2002, after a four year course that included a year studying abroad. She was then accepted as a doctoral student at Sussex University and completed a wide ranging thesis covering both experimental and theoretical Inorganic and Physical Chemistry.
Laura studied Linguistics and Phonetics at the University of Leeds. She then decided to pursue a career in teaching and earned a place on the prestigious Teach First Leadership Development Programme, a teacher-training scheme for high-achieving graduates.
Lizzie firmly believes that teaching is one of the most rewarding careers there is, and that primary school is the foundation for children to reach their full potential. Lizzie's interest in the world of education was the reason she read, and greatly enjoyed, Education Studies at Cambridge University.
