Caroline studied Social and Political Sciences at Cambridge University and then joined a sales and marketing graduate scheme at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals. After several years, she decided to follow her passion into education and trained to be a primary teacher gaining her PGCE at Gloucestershire University with fun Key Stage 1 and 2 placements in Cheltenham. Her first teaching job was at St Paul's Juniors in London where she had a Year 4 class and was also Head of PSHE. Missing her degree subject of politics, she gradually switched to A-level teaching, gaining experience at Dulwich College before returning to St Paul's School. She is now a Housemaster and also a Politics A-level teacher. Caroline has experience of tutoring girls for the 11+ exam for selective schools in London and also for those older students preparing for Politics A-level. She really enjoys working with young people on an individual basis as the education can be tailor-made and results can be seen very quickly. Working in conjunction with the classroom setting, this can really help to boost self-esteem and with consistent application, results can be seen very quickly.
