They are created to provide a practice set of papers for independent schools which use both calculations and Reasoning at 7+ to set Maths entrance assessments. They can also be used to prepare for entry to any selective school at 7+.
What types of questions are in 7+ Maths papers?
7+ Maths will take a variety of forms, so these papers aim to cover all potential aspects of the assessment. The Maths 7+ exam is largely based on the Year 1 and 2 National Curriculum, with some extension tasks coming from the very start of the Year 3 curriculum.
