Are you hoping for your child to win one of the places at North London Collegiate School at 7+? This guide tells you everything you need to know about the application process: from registering your child, to pre-tests, exams and the interview.

Introduction

North London Collegiate School is an independent day school for girls aged 4 -18 in Edgware, North London. Students can enter North London Collegiate School via admissions points at 4+, 7+, 11+ and 16+. At the 7+ entry point, 8-10 girls are admitted into Year 3 of the Junior School.

Before you apply

The school strongly encourages parents to visit the school during one of its open days or ‘School in Action’ mornings.

The next 7+ open morning is scheduled for Thursday 26th September 2024 and booking is required.

Parents of girls considering applying for a place at 7+ are also invited to a School in Action morning, which gives parents the opportunity to look around the school while lessons are in progress. Prospective 7+ girls are offered Taster Mornings whilst their parents attend a School in Action morning, where they attend two taster lessons and break time.

School in Action and Taster Mornings run in the Summer and Autumn terms and sessions are from 9:45am until approximately 11.30am. Numbers for these sessions are limited and by appointment only. Please visit https://www.nlcs.org.uk/admissions/visit-us/ to register an interest.

For the academic year 2024/25, the fees for studying in the Junior Section of North London Collegiate School are £7,465 per term, or £22,395 per year.

The school offers a variety of bursaries and scholarships, but only for older pupils.
