What makes Owl 16+ Maths papers different?

Owl Tutors 16+ Maths papers are bespoke. They are written by an examiner with experience of marking 16+ Maths papers for entry to Sixth Form/ Year 12 (at age 16).

They are created to provide a practice set of papers for independent schools which use Maths questions based on GCSE and IGCSE questions at Higher Level at 16+ to set entrance assessments. They can also be used to prepare for entry to any selective school at 16+, including grammar schools.

For students based overseas, they will enable students and families to understand the format of the exam, even if they are unfamiliar with British GCSEs.

What types of questions are in 16+ Maths papers?

At 16+, the exams are based on the GCSEs in Maths that the student will undertake at the end of Year 11. There are specific topics included in these papers which are designed to be accessible yet challenging for those students hoping to study Maths at A-Level or IB Diploma Level.

Who can use Owl Tutors 16+ Maths papers?

They can be used independently for at-home preparation or with a tutor to foster success at 16+. The student should be able to mark them independently using the mark scheme provided. The school may not give examples of their Maths 16+ assessment so these will ensure the student can properly prepare for their exam.
