Laura's biography

Laura has been teaching for over six years and is currently working at an independent girls school, where she has acted as the Head of Department and runs the school’s Mandarin club.

After graduating from University College London with a degree in French, Laura decided to travel and subsequently taught English as a foreign language in Taiwan and Peru, before returning to the UK to complete her PGCE teacher training in Modern Foreign Languages.
She has experience of teaching different exam boards for both GCSE and A-level French and Spanish. She also has recent experience as an examiner.

Laura has been tutoring for many years and particularly enjoys the variety and challenge of creating lessons based on each individual’s needs and requirements.
