Tutor profile - Sophie

Sophie is an experienced teacher and has worked both in the UK and South East Asia. Most recently, she taught at Brighton College Bangkok for two years and gathered invaluable international teaching experience.

Sophie prides herself on being a positive role model to students, removing the stigma attached to Maths and making it fun, enjoyable and accessible to all.

She has experience preparing students for the Junior and Intermediate Maths Challenges.

Sophie has ample experience in online tutoring and enjoys using resources such as BitPaper and Conceptboard to support her teaching.

She started her Maths journey from the small island of Guernsey, UK. Growing up, Sophie had the most influential Maths Teacher, leading her to pursue a career teaching Maths. She taught in York for the first three years before moving to South East Asia to teach at a private international school.

Sophie has experience teaching the English National Curriculum at Key Stages 2, 3, 4 and 5, including GCSE and IGCSE Mathematics, GCSE and IGCSE Further Mathematics and A-level and International A-Level Mathematics.
