Nick

Nick is an experienced maths tutor with a proven track record as a teacher, head of maths, tutor and examiner over the past 25 years. He has taught and tutored A Level Maths, A Level Further Maths, GCSE Maths, iGCSE Maths, University Admissions Tests in Mathematics and other mathematics qualifications. Nick has also supported students aiming for A* in the Level 3 Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). Nick tutors both online and face-to-face. Nick has a PhD in mathematics as well as a BSc and MSc. He has qualified teacher status (PGCE University of Warwick), He has AST (Advanced Skills teacher) status, and other nationally recognised teaching qualifications (NPQSL and NPQLTD). Nick enjoys helping students to understand mathematics that they have previously been confused by. All of his previous students have made significant progress (a recent example is a student who progressed from a U at AS Level to a grade B in 4 months at 2 hours per week). Nick is a regional coordinator for a national organisation that aims to improve mathematics education, this role includes providing professional development to other maths teachers. Nick is an enthusiastic, patient teacher who never considers any question to be a 'stupid question'.
