Javal is a science and maths teacher with 9 years of experience. He has worked as Head of Physics, Head of Science and as an examiner for Edexcel and Cambridge International Assessment.

Javal grew up in the Caribbean nation of St Vincent and the Grenadines. Off the back of his outstanding A Level results and interview performance, he obtained a full scholarship to study Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge, where he graduated in 2013 with a Master's and a Bachelor's Degree in Experimental and Theoretical Physics. He obtained a PGCE in Physics with Maths from the UCL Institute of Education in 2015 and has been a science and maths teacher for the last 9 years, working in London for 7 years and Latin America for 2 years.

Over the course of his career, Javal has been instrumental in helping many students achieve their potential, with the progress score of his A Level Physics cohort being in the top 2% nationally. He has successfully aided students through the Oxbridge application process, creating a trend of Oxbridge success in the London state school he taught at. Javal has worked as a physics examiner for Edexcel and Cambridge International Examinations, and so has first hand knowledge of what examiners are looking for from successful students. He has also taught IB Diploma physics at an international British school in Peru.
