Elka

With a career spanning from early primary to secondary education, Elka is a highly versatile educator currently teaching Year 5 in South East London. Her extensive experience across Year 2 and Year 3 has fostered a deep expertise in early years foundations, specifically phonics, literacy and maths mastery. Having also taught at the secondary level, she possesses a unique understanding of the "attainment gap" and specialises in bridging the transition between primary and secondary school. Elka is deeply committed to inclusive education, bringing high-level SEN and EAL experience to every session. She is known for her ability to tailor lessons daily, tapping into a child’s personal interests to ensure they remain motivated and engaged. Outside of the classroom, she is a passionate sportswoman and thespian, incorporating that same energy and creativity into her tutoring. Based in South East London, she offers flexible support both online and in person.
