Tutor profile - Helen

Helen is a mature and very experienced teacher of A-level economics who has taught a wide range of students. Many of Helen's previous students have gone on to study at prestigious Russell Group universities and some have gone on to study at Oxford and Cambridge.

Helen aims to get the most out of her students and encourages them to excel. She is also a very sympathetic and patient tutor and is very good at breaking topics down into simple steps so that students gain a deep understanding of the subject. Helen enjoys putting together bespoke resources and worksheets for students that are tailored to their specific learning needs rather than relying on textbooks.

Helen is currently working part time at a further education college in Pembrokeshire, Wales where she teaches A-level economics to local students. A recent appraisal described her as 'dedicated and professional'.
When she isn't teaching Helen is a keen walker and loves getting out into nature and the countryside.
