After a bachelor's degree in biomedical science, he starting tutoring during his time as a classroom teacher of physics at Mascalls School in Kent, where he was also teacher in charge of physics, continuing throughout his master's and PhD studies in linguistics.

After graduating from the University of Birmingham, Ed has enjoyed a successful career in teaching, working as an Advanced Skills Teacher and an A level examiner. He has an excellent track record of helping students surpass their expected grades, including up to A* level.

Before Andrew found teaching he had been a financial consultant, a marketing, communications and PR officer, a company manager and business development manager, a yoga and meditation teacher, an actor, a chef, a creative and artist, a music festival producer and manager and more! Andrew left his own education with 5 and a half A-levels of his own as well as a BA in Politics (with Philosophy) and a Masters in International relations, Ethics and Philosophy.

Calum has been teaching, mentoring and supporting the learning of pupils with a range of abilities and learning needs in the Lewisham area for three years. He began as a Teaching Assistant at Prendergast Vale, supporting students with learning needs, leading EAL classes and the school’s Philosophy Club.
