Scott is a fully qualified history teacher with a master’s degree in teaching. He has 18 years of classroom experience teaching pupils from 11 to 18 years old. Originally from the north of England his teaching experience has been mostly in inner London as a head of history and head of humanities. He is highly skilled at identifying the needs of learners and adapting to them by personalising learning plans. His calm, friendly and enthusiastic teaching style boosts pupils’ confidence whatever their starting point leading to secure improvement. Scott has a long and proven track record of preparing students for success at Key Stage 3, GCSE and A-level.

Scott’s experience and expertise mean that he has a broad knowledge of pupils’ motivations and any potential barriers to learning which means that he is able to help them make quick progress. This is combined with his excellent understanding of different exam boards’ syllabi and the content of the National Curriculum.
