Maud is amazing. When I started sessions with Maud I was a C level student with some good ideas and when I finished with her I received an A in my English Lit A Level exam. She really pushes you for the most advanced and nuanced arguments and helps you think deeply about the text you're studying, as well as transforming my approach to essay technique. Simply put, after Maud's sessions I felt I had the tools to turn in an excellent essay no matter the subject, and was confident both in my form and in the substance of my argument.

Holly is a very organized, calm, thoughtful, encouraging and understanding tutor. Our son has been very happy with Holly and he very much looks forward to meeting Holly online each week. Holly has worked hard at getting to know our son which is often difficult on an online platform. Holly has worked excellently at encouraging him and improving his confidence. This is exactly what we were looking for and I am tremendously pleased to say that our expectations have been met. Ria did a great job with my daughter. We started English (grammar and comprehension) with Ria during the lockdown when there was no school. I didn't want my daughter to miss out Year 2 curriculum therefore I hired a tutor. In the space of 2 months my daughter's reading/comprehension skills improved immensely, as well as punctuation and grammar. Ria developed a great relationship with my daughter, managed to keep her focussed and motivated. She manages to keep the online teaching experience very personal and real, and my daughter is always looking forward to the lessons, while previously it was near to impossible to motivate her do any home learning. Ria was also extremely helpful in recommending books and extra learning material specifically for my daughter's level, which we enjoy very much. I can't thank Ria enough!

I can’t thank you enough for suggesting Alex as a tutor for Theo. He was so far behind expectations for the UK we were very concerned about our return for August 2020. Alex has been amazing with him and has built his confidence in maths and English brilliantly! She’s shared her plans with us each week and advised us on how to support him between sessions. He’s now secure at Year 3 work and will begin Year 4 a little bit ahead which is wonderful.

They’ve worked the past few lessons on extended writing, and today Theo finally finished his piece on Messi, his favourite footballer. Alex is intending to tweet this to Messi - much to Theo’s delight.
