(i) Enter the current year's fees for the school.

You might have to expand from the schools advertised termly fee. For example, Eton College’s fee for 2021/22 is £14,698 per term. There are three terms so the total figure to input would be (3 x £14,698=) £44,094

(ii) Select how many years your child intends to study at the institution.

This will usually be dependent upon the year of entry. For example, an 11 year old starting at Dulwich College will be there longer than a 13 plus entry.

(iii) Enter the date of entry and the calculator will make an approximate adjustment for projected fee increases

Please note that this calculator gives an approximate figure to help with planning and currently includes just the school fees. It does not include separate, expected costs, such as music lessons, trips and coach services, among others.
