Shu is a fantastic tutor. She has years of experience as a qualified teacher and tutor, which made a huge difference to our son’s 7+ preparation process. From the first lesson we could see that Shu has a very structured deeply thought approach to teaching- she always focused on starting with concepts and building foundations. We really appreciated this, and so did our son, he enjoyed learning with her. Shu made very astute judgments on our son's potential and was able to ascertain very quickly the areas where our son needed to work on. She worked with us to create a plan for approaching the exams. As parents, she gave us a lot of assurance throughout the process and managed our expectations, limiting our stress. Although she was strict with our son, she knew where to push and how to get results out of him, being mindful always of where his limits were. We saw a great chemistry between them. She has a great way of dealing with children, making them accountable for their work and creating an inner motivation for excellence. We were amazed that he was happy to sit for as long as 2 hours with minimal breaks, and I think he looked forward to her lessons sometimes, which is a miracle! We really got the sense that teaching is her passion, and this makes all the difference to the child’s learning experience. We supplemented our work with Shu with research on exam formats, techniques etc. Shu is very collaborative, flexible and pragmatic in her approach, but also unafraid to be direct and transparent. We worked really well as a team, and in 7 weeks of working together, our son got into the top school of our choice. It was an absolute pleasure dealing and interacting with Shu, and we would highly recommend her to any parents looking for additional support for their child in the school examination process. Jaqueline was a fantastic tutor for my son Zak. In terms of targets and goals, Jaqueline shared useful materials, ensured Zak was exceeding expectations for 7+ Testing and remained thoughtful, thorough and supportive through out our sessions.

We liked Tricia but I’d have preferred it if my son could have seen her more regularly. She is clearly very popular and I understand why. She was good at slotting us in if she could.

Rachel has been a great choice - our son has made huge progress since he started having his regular classes with her, and she has allowed us to find useful ways to support his learning at home in an enriching and non-pressurised way. Crucially, we have switched to online tutoring sessions which are working brilliantly. She has found original and engaging ways to keep our son interested but also learning: they read books together, work on his writing and maths, and his progress has accelerated if anything. Thank you Rachel! Rachel is a fantastic online tutor! My son, a lively 4.5yo boy transferring to the British system in Year 1, is engaged throughout their lesson and making huge progress! We are able to do more frequent and shorter sessions and Rachel has devised great ways for him to work on his reading, writing and maths - we were delightfully surprised to see how enriching online learning can be even at his age. We had our final session with Efe on Sunday. We had a positive experience. He was friendly and professional and in the main able to engage son - who was at times recalcitrant about being tutored!

Efe has been a delight to welcome into our home each week - professional and personable, kind and authoritative. He is a remarkable communicator, both with our child, and with us as parents: always willing and ready to let us know where progress is and isn't being made, areas where our child needs to work harder, and looking for ways to get the best out of child - Efe just seems to 'get' him, which is no mean feat in itself!

Hannah was great and quickly engaged with my son. He looked forward to his sessions with her and she kept the curriculum varied and interesting. Sounds like she know how to prepare kids for the 7+ as she’s been doing this for awhile.

Josh has really helped our son develop his English and they both work so well together. So happy with they techniques Josh uses to support him and he enjoys his sessions with Josh.

Sobia worked with my children aged 12, 10 and 8 years. She supported them in homework preparation as well as specific work on exam technique and covering exam material. After much hard work they have been successful in gaining places at Eton College, Godolphin and Latymer School and Westminster Under School. I would recommend Sobia to anyone looking for support in both exam applications as well as supporting school work.
