Jonathan holds a Bachelor's degree with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from the University of Warwick and a Postgraduate Qualification in Applied Linguistics from the University of Birmingham. In addition, he has a TEFL Level 5 certificate, showcasing proficiency in teaching English as a foreign language. With 32 years of classroom experience in top-performing schools, Jonathan has a proven track record of achieving academic excellence. He has taught in differing secondary schools achieving excellence in all. He is a highly experienced GCSE examiner, currently with AQA, and has an in-depth understanding of exam requirements and assessment criteria. His role as an educational consultant with the world’s largest global exam board further enhances his expertise in curriculum design and student success strategies. Combining his extensive examining background with a passion for teaching, Jonathan provides high-quality, tailored tuition that equips students with the skills, confidence, and knowledge to excel academically.

Jonathan is a Senior Examiner for A Level English Language and has extensive experience of examining at AS and A2 levels with various boards and syllabuses.
