Tim

Tim has twelve years’ teaching experience across two leading independent schools, The Perse School, Cambridge (2022–2026) and Haberdashers’ Boys’ School (2015–2022), teaching English from Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 5/A-Level. At both schools, he held pastoral roles as a Sixth Form and Lower School tutor and gained extensive 11+ and 13+ admissions experience, including entrance-exam paper marking, moderation and participation in interview panels. What sets Tim apart is his examining experience. He is a practising Examiner for AQA GCSE English Literature and AQA GCSE English Language, and has previously examined for OCR GCSE English Language and OCR AS English Literature. This gives him direct insight into mark schemes and assessment objectives, which he brings to every lesson.
