Ben's biography

Having graduated from Sheffield University (BA English Literature, 2-1) in 2004, Ben spent some time working as an executive in advertising before switching career and completing his PGCE at Bristol in 2007. He has then spent 13 continuous years teaching in top UK independent and international school sectors, including roles as Head of Department at Uppingham, Deputy Head of Department at St Albans School and Bablake and Head of Year at the British International School, Ho Chi Minh City.

Ben is an encouraging and supportive tutor. He has extensive and assured subject knowledge, alongside experience of teaching virtually all exam boards, including those for GCSE, IGCSE, A-levels and the IB.

IB Experience

Ben taught IB English Literature at Standard and Higher Level during his teaching post at The British International School, Ho Chi Minh City (2012-2015).
