Diana is an experienced Primary teacher who inspires a love of learning through her passionate and enthusiastic spirit. She has been teaching in both state and independent schools in multi-cultural environments within Greater London.
Diana has a Post Graduate Certificate in Primary Education (PGCE) and a bachelor’s degree in Theology and English. She also holds a Cambridge CELTA and a MA in translations.
As a Primary teacher, Diana loves helping children develop their sense of curiosity and wonder about the world around them while encouraging them to think critically and creatively. She uses different learning experiences with a varied and dynamic approach, and takes into account different learning styles, individual preferences and needs. Having fun is an important element in her teaching. Seeing children enjoy their learning and grow as individuals gives her great satisfaction.
Diana has proven record of supporting children to achieve well academically. She takes great pride in enabling every child to reach their full potential showing patience and care in her teaching approach.
Through her English as An Additional Language (EAL) teaching, Diana supported children on one to one basis or in small groups across KS1 and KS2. She understands well how to tailor her teaching to meet each individual’s needs in order for them to fully access the curriculum and enjoy school life along their peers. Games, mini role-plays and songs play a key part in her teaching.
As an English as Foreign Language (EFL) teacher, Diana has had the opportunity to work in a London language school teaching all the English skills to adults. She has also taught summer schools to teenagers on various occasions running language skills workshops and taking part in various extracurricular activities and off-site trips, too.
In her spare time, Diana enjoys exploring the natural world with its beauty and endless surprises whether she walks in the woods, does gardening or engages in ecological activities. She also loves reading and visiting museums and art galleries.

Diana has successfully completed the Owl Tutors training course in 7 Plus exam preparation. This means they have a thorough understanding of the structure, content and demands of these exams and are qualified to prepare students. Training is delivered by Holly, a highly experienced school entrance tutor and member of the Owl Tutors team.
