Tutor profile - Louisa

Louisa studied Outdoor and Adventure in Education (BA hons) at the University of Chichester. She finished an upper 2:1 degree. Louisa then completed her Primary PGCE at St Marys University. After completing this post graduate degree, Louisa worked in a reception class for 2 years where she completed her ECT years with Teach First. Louisa has now completed her third year of teaching in a year 1 class and will stay in year 1 for the upcoming academic year. Louisa is also the PE lead at her school where she facilitates inter-house sports competitions, sports days, district sports and more.

Another part of her role is to ensure that her children are well prepared for the Year 1 statutory phonics screening assessment in the summer term. Louisa is very passionate about supporting children with learning their fundamental skills to allow them to improve in their every day life, as well as their academic progress.
