11 Plus Maths

Frankie did an excellent job with our daughter’s prep for secondary school exams. She did an excellent job diagnosing what our daughter needed to focus on. Then structured sessions around improving those areas. And she did it in a very constructive way (daughter wants to keep working with her after the exams!). Happily, through Frankie’s tuition she received an offer from all three places we applied.

We were with Abigail for a few years in the lead up to the 11+ exams and she's been amazing. She made our daughter comfortable with her studies, and helped her to understand the foundations of the subject, rather than memorising answers. Abigail was able to focus and develop the areas of improvement to ensure success, while regularly checking to ensure confidence across the syllabus. With Abigail's support, our daughter was offered a place at her preferred secondary school.

We have been absolutely delighted with Leo through Owl Tutors. Her approach is incredibly dedicated, thoughtful, and completely tailored to the child in front of her. Leo is warm, kind, and genuinely child-focused, which made such a difference to our daughter’s confidence and enjoyment. Our daughter has loved every single session with Leo and looked forward to them each week. We saw an immediate improvement in her work, not just academically but also in her attitude and self-belief. Leo has a wonderful way of explaining things clearly while making sessions engaging and positive. We feel incredibly lucky to have worked with Leo and cannot recommend her highly enough.

Ruth has been a wonderful tutor to my daughter. Her lessons are engaging, and her warm personality has encouraged my daughter to persist with her learning even when some things seem challenging. Highly recommended.
