Sarah graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2003 with a first-class honours degree in Education. She worked as a primary school teacher until 2021, in a mixture of inner-city state and independent schools. Her most recent teaching role was Director of Studies (senior management) at the prestigious North London Collegiate School. Here she was responsible for the 7+ assessment process, curriculum development and standards in teaching and learning. She has taught across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 but has the greatest amount of experience in teaching Year 6 pupils, preparing them for either their SAT’s or 11+ exams. She has successfully tutored pupils to achieve places at schools such as Laytmer, St.Pauls, Aldenham, Belmont, St. Benedict’s and Mill Hill.
Sarah currently works exclusively as a private tutor, teaching 1-1 or in small groups. She enjoys working individually with pupils, building positive relationships, and tailoring her teaching approach to their specific needs. She can accommodate for a range of learning styles and has extensive experience of working with pupils who speak English as a second language and also with pupils who have special educational needs.

For 11+, Sarah has helped 3 students gain places at Belmont School, 3 gain places at St. Benedict's and 1 at Marylebone Girl's School.
