Ida

Ida has been a dedicated and committed teacher for over 8 years. She is kind, creative and strongly encourages curiosity and independent thinking. Having obtained her PGCE at the well regarded Institute of Education, she has taught across 4 Key stages (from Nursery to GCSE) and has taught in a prestigious London Prep school. Ida’s approach to tutoring is that young people should be motivated and engaged in their learning and that the tutors role is to be an active participant in ensuring that the young persons interests are integrated into academic journey.

For two years, Ida led Brilliant Club at her school, a charity that supports pupils from less privileged backgrounds to access the most prestigious universities in the UK. She particularly enjoyed the scholars programme, where she worked alongside PHD students who were able to share their subject knowledge and support small groups of pupils to develop their knowledge and skills in order to gain a place at a competitive university.

Ida has worked with the well established Bell English language school to deliver high quality English lessons to students aspiring to gain access to UK’s most competitive universities. At Bell language school, Ida worked with world leading English language teachers to deliver lessons and develop a holistic language curriculum that would enable pupils to not only be able to successfully communicate in English, but to also create strong social links to that would support them during their educational pursuits.

In her spare time Ida enjoys travelling and is a keen member of her local debate club.
