Tutor profile - Areej

Areej gained her qualified teacher status and Diploma in Education in 2021 and went on to teach maths in an outstanding secondary school. She has tutored privately for over 4 years and has helped students increase their confidence in the subject massively. She has taught students of all abilities and year groups, ranging from year 7 up to year 12.

During her time in secondary education, she honed her teaching skills and also took up leadership roles, serving as an Assistant Curriculum Lead for the mathematics department for two years. This position allowed her to delve into the depths of the maths curriculum and ensured that students received a well-rounded, engaging learning experience.

Areej ensures that students that she tutors are always in a supportive learning environment. She enjoys the one-to-one interaction with students and tailors her approach to meet their individual needs. She creates a space in which students are comfortable to ask questions and work through any misunderstandings. Above all, she allows students to realise their full potential.
